I love to escape into my mind,
my sanctuary of fantasies and visions
of all kinds,
so surreal these can be,
reach out, touch and you will see.

Something has unlocked my mind,
the key taken years to find,
opening the doors to rooms inside,
where in each a story hides.

Viewing the life choices made and yet to make,
New skills to learn new paths to create
before me paths lain to tease,
which way does my journey lead?

Looking at the world anew,
Counting blessings many not few
