The obtuse sits beside us and bad karma  can enroll

We fit well together our bodies conform
Entwined legs and fingers, touch, then trigger thunderstorms
I hear the thunder as our heartbeats increase
See bright shards of light when nearing release
Rivulets of water cascade down our spines
Mixing with stormy fluids to expedite the prize

Moving together grasping something quite wild
Enacting the storm that’s wild in the night
Grasping our pleasure filled with delight

Hold tomorrow

Layed bare in the misty light of the narcessant  moon
Her beauty reflected, on our skin’s pink tinged bloom
Shielded from harsh light, in a silken cocoon
Safe in your arms,our unofficial honeymoon
Soothed by our passion, that musical tune
Dreading tomorrow, coming too soon

Makes life tick, prevents isolation
The human need for recognition
Sends us searching out on a mission
Do you stop and look within
Or need all stimuli outside the skin

How far will you go to win that feeling
Change your behaviour, personality sealing
Mock up a life to fit with the rest

Words

Words those unsubstantial marks on the page
Describing concepts from the mind, retrieved from life’s  stage
Words those insignificant sounds reaching our ears
Communicating needs, joys and fears
What makes those words a potent force
When each receiver tunes in, differently of course
The pictures produced in the receivers  mind 
Influenced by their experiences, perceptions, beliefs inside
Words that paint pictures of concepts, we feel a need to express
If words evoke reaction maybe that’s a writer’s success

You said light my fire
An arsonist to light the pyre
Would that be, an all consuming flame
Or a smouldering burn, more easily contained
Is this to be a single conflagration
Or the match, to an eternal flame, of integration
Would it be the flame of lust
Burning heat then ashes and dust
Or the cleansing flame to warm the soul
Your invitation based on desire, wanting to be whole

Standing with a match do I have that desire?
