Pearl

Creamy lustred iridescence

Pearl made from the very essence

Formed from grit inside the shell

Discomfort, for the occupant as well
Pearl to me you have gifted

Pleasure paramount, each time twas lifted

Now the pearl is a symbol

Of love lost, sacrificial
Tiny irritations grew

Sank like sand inside my shell

The only pearl around my neck

Relationship lost respect
Pearl for tears, some would say

Creamy lustred irridescence, stay

Heal the rifts or fuel the memories

Banish jealousies
