Teddy Bear

Teddybear is sitting in the chair
Wondering what clothes to wear
Will it be an important day
Will she listen to a word I say
I have so much wisdom in my head
Time she was up and out of the bed

I share her secrets large and small
Cuddle and kiss her when shes had a fall
I need my breakfast same as you
Sausage and egg maybe toast too
I have to nag her to tidy the room
A bear wasnt made to wield a broom

I have to love her when shes down
Make her smile when she has a frown
I like to travel adventure and play
Hope we are off on a journey today
I secretly organise her life
Being in charge is kind of nice

I sit and smile and just pretend
To be a toy…when at the end
I am the one who keeps her sane
But never has to take the blame
Teddybear is sitting in the chair
Wondering what clothes to wear
