Shivering Colours

Shivering colours of exotic hue

Weave their way, round me and you

Toffee brown eyes, glint and spark

Vermillion, pink and honeyed dark
Weave their way round me and you

Intertwined hair black and bamboo

Vermillion, pink and honeyed dark

Aura’s radiating the colours of the heart
Intertwined hair blonde and bamboo

Beautiful colours shouldn’t be taboo

Aura’s radiating the colour of the heart

Changes as we move apart
Beautiful colours shouldn’t be taboo

The palette of colour that we view

Changes as we move and part

Each colour shows affection’s mark
The palette of colour that we view

Depends my lover on me and you

Swirl the brush get innovations spark

Shivering in exotic hue
Wriien in the Pantoum form.

Make my toes curl

Passion errupting, emotions leap and twirl

Hearing your voice makes my toes curl

Heated in the moment of new lovers bliss

Sealing the deal with a never ending kiss

Anticipation growing filling the cup

Your touch, lights my world,up

Hearing you whisper, you are my girl

That little statement makes my toes curl

Imperative Compunction

Embraced so tight, cheeks ablush

Look in your eyes, words superfluous

 Tingling touch, that tantalises

Aching anticipation, fantasises

Sinfully delicious, mad seduction

Feels a natural construction.

Opening up my secret desires

Heart strings plucked, lust conspires

Panting passion, pleasure plea

Yearning yields, guarantee

Melting core, trying to function

Over whelmed, imperative compunction

On line Friendship

We met on a word game, in cyberspace

We got on well we bonded and chased

We talked and shared, our lives our schemes

Hard to remember, it is a fantasy, a dream

For we only know the other, from the information shared

Keeping secrets, though the soul seems bared

We share our lives, from our own point of view

Not a rounded version from others too

We share an oasis, from life’s woes and cares

We are friends indulging in a cyber-affair

We share great intimacy, its exotic erotic

But its words and pictures, it’s only symbolic

It revs up our hormones and gives us a thrill

Feels so real our needs to fulfil

We find so much in common, it gives us a high

We see the nice bits, not the grumps or the cry

We have a view of another’s life

Sharing the pleasures and some of the strife

We need to remember while the interaction is real

Our mind adds in details, too many, surreal

But the real world comes first, has to be the case

Fantasy is just that, it may have a place

Enjoy the moments the tingle and the fun

If your emotions entangle, it’s time to run

Understand the rule,s keep them in mind

Then friendship not heartbreak will be

The bottom line.

Dedicated to all those who meet and interact on line. Relates to Converging Lives the novel.

Colours

Shivering colours of exotic hue

Weave there way, round me and you

Honey brown eyes, glint and laugh

Glorious white teeth as you laugh

Vermillion lips, trace an autograph

Grey eyes sparkling glinting blue

Intertwined hair, blonde and bamboo

Pink pointed tongues, leave silvery trails

Dappled skin, pink tinged amazes

Aura radiating colours of flames

Our movements fan and rearrange

Silver stars pop in our minds

Pink  green and gold just emphasise

The palette of colour that we create

Changes each time we concentrate

Swirl the brush in a different direction

Colours change with our affection

Shivering colours of exotic hues

Paint a picture of me and you.

Ode to poets

I read your poetry with awe
Wanting to read ever more
It warms my heart and makes me think
Never sends me to the drink
Your laid back style
Makes me smile
Your words and thought
So carefully wrought
Can be very deep
Make connections leap
The rhythm and the tempos time
Pull one from line to line
The pictures painted sometimes stun
But that means dear poet you have won.
